Selecting the proper fastener for each application is important in obtaining maximum performance.Point Length- Length of the unthreaded point-must be greater then total thicness of material to be drilled. In jobs involving more than total thick-ness of materal, calculation of total thickness must also include any spaces between thickness. Driving Technique- Keep the driving tool perpendicular to working surface. Drivers- Fasteners should be installed with 2500 RPM high-torque drivers equipped with a positive clutch. For wood to steel application, driverds operting at 1700-2000 Rpm should be used.
